Mapping the solar wind over 24 hours; slowly evolving drawings capturing the fluctuation of energy flow from our sun.
Each drawing represents one day of solar wind speed data. Starting at the top and working clockwise, each line represents one minute, a total of 1,440 minutes/lines per day. The speed of the solar wind is represented by the length of the line towards the centre; any bad or unreadable data is represented by a blank space.
Created in collaboration with Matthew Venn (Cursive Data) as part of the real-time data visualisation hack day in July 2013 at Bristol Hackspace.
